OUR STORY
After becoming overwhelmed with long, ineligible ingredient lists and underwhelmed by the results of other product lines hairstylist Jackson Stewart decided to create a line of his own. He began working with a chemist and fell in love with making hair products. After receiving a diploma in natural haircare formulation from The School of Natural Cosmetics, Jackson decided to create Ethereal for Divine Hair.
Ethereal focuses on natural formulas with quality ingredients that keep synthetics and preservatives to a minimum. Our products are always color safe, cruelty-free, sulfate-free, and vegan. Most ingredients are plant derived and are always sourced from high quality, sustainable distributors. Each batch is formulated, mixed and packaged at our salon/lab in NYC.
ONLY THE ESSENTIALS
We believe it’s important to be transparent about what’s in our products and keep our ingredient list to a minimum. We avoid the use of unnecessary fillers, stabilizers, preservatives, feel enhancers or alcohols that are known to be harmful or irritating to the scalp & hair. Only the finest and most effective ingredients go into our formulas and all Ethereal products are free of sulfates, parabens, phytolates, mineral oil, and drying alcohols. Ethereal strives to use plant-derived, natural ingredients that are sustainable and cruelty-free. We believe healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp and is maintained with hydrating products that not only moisturize and repair, but also protect hair from further heat and styling damage.

OUR FOUNDER
Jackson Stewart has been working in the beauty business since 2008. He worked as a hairstylist in his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas before moving to New York over a decade ago. Jackson honed his craft working under the guidance of several celebrity hairstylists and now works as a colorist at the famed John Barrett Salon in New York City.
